6. Kevin: Hello, I’m Kevin. Are you going to order the pizza or can I
order it?
Chantal: I really like to order it but you arrived first, so, please
order it and I choose something else. By the way, I’m Chantal.
K: No. I would rather eat something else so that you can buy it
because it is the last one. I have never seen you before. Are you a
new student?
C: Yes, I have already arrived at the city and I have changed
faculty. This is my first day here and I don’t know anyone.
K: Can we sit together so that we can know each other?
7. C: That’s O.K. Thanks for not buying the pizza.
K: Where are you from?
C: I lived in Santa Marta. I arrived here a month ago and
fortunately I could get my transfer to another site of the same
university. Due to this, I won’t delay my studies with
homologations.
K: That’s good! And what do you study?
C: Medicine, I will start 4th semester and you?
K: I study Psychology and I will start 6th semester. I think that
Santa Marta is a beautiful city to live but I think you will like Cali.
We are very happy and kind people. What do you miss from Santa
Marta the most?
8. C: Apart from my friends, the beach. With no doubt, I love swimming
there. I do it well and it is an exercise that I may do for hours without
getting tired. Moreover, it makes me feel relaxed and this is how I
reload my energy. And what do you do in your free time?
K: Well, I love football but I don’t practice it very often because I
must teach some students from previous semesters because I’m a tutor
of psychological processes.
C: Why don’t you do it on weekends?
K: Yes, I think I should organize my time better so I can spend my
weekends practicing my favorite sport.
C: I will look for something to do here. Something that I like, so I can
enjoy myself. I could dance; maybe I could try to learn how to dance
salsa music.
9. K: I might join you and learn too.
C: I shall be happy if you join me.
K: Would you like to inquire about it
next weekend?
C: Perfect! Nice to meet you.
K: Likewise, see you tomorrow.
C: O.K. Bye.
