Transnationalization, Financialisation, and Informationalization (Globalisation/Totalisation of capital)
Data needs to be seen as a factor of production, first emerged in subordinate position to
money capital in neoliberal era; with the commodification of ideas (IP regime-GATS) which
was followed by the emergence of the rule of algorithmic models which solved the
quantification of social and cultural qualities, abstract data asserts itself over all other factors
of production (land, labour, and fixed capital), and the Schumpeterian category
‘entrepreneurship’ (expertise and network of the class agency).
Today abstract data has emerged as the factor of production which is capable of extracting
value out of and swallow entire value chains; it is not only able to subordinate the land,
labour, and fixed capital, but also money form. Therefore the agency of Data Capital has
entered the intra-capitalist class war, with its corporate forms as Google, Facebook, Bitcoin;
and proposed mode of accumulations in form of Industrial Internet, and Internet of Things.
Clashes of the Titans
Capitalist class analysis of scattered enemy line:
Data Capital (Fusch, Holmes, Witheford, Wark, Pasquinelli), Money and Productive Capital (Cox, Gill, Van
der Pijl and Overbeek) on the one hand and State Capitalism in BRICs
Networks of capital fractions from Lockean West, Vassal and Contender State-Society complexes is the
basis of Transnational and systemic struggles thesis (developed by Van der Pijl). Partly in accordance with
uneven and combined development thesis; these work provides better enemy analysis then that is provided by Hardt
and Negri and cognitive capitalism theory. However for a better ground for effective counter strategy all needs to be
taken seriously. Needs to be seen that the sharp reform vision to save the capital, has been picked up and
implemented. This needs special attention since as an aspect of this systematic and transnational intra-ruling-class
struggles (also of the inter-class struggle) the capital has gained expertise to hook up with the radical movements;
Expertise on social network and complexity management developed in certain hubs nodes, and interlocking roles
played by certain people. Harvard Law School, MIT, Yale, Pennsylvania U. (for instance Benkler and De Philippi sits in
the WEF agenda setting groups), New Economy Foundation and New Economy Coalition (in the US) funded by British
Royal OAK foundation, The Next System project’s coordinator is a leading figure in the Club of Rome (which promotes
Social Capitalism and Good Global Governance via works of group called Syndicate). Funding is used to create civil
society by ruling class fractions to counterbalance each other, as well as covert action; meanwhile they counter
increasingly independent posture of emerging new ruling class fractions from ex-periphery by imperialism.
Subject of the revolutionary/emancipatory production
1. There are many experimentation going on like in every crisis-renaissance periods. For the
good there is yet need for a holistic co-operation towards de-commodification (commonification)
of land (agriculture and trade), labour and fixed capital (industry), money capital (finance), data
and information (ICTs);
● A comprehensive and bottom-up-coordination of these reverse engineering experiments in
different fields needs to be thought as R&D of the modules of global and transnational
alternative production networks; to be integrated outside the influence and circuits of
capital fractions; and state elite (data, money, labour, land, power, atom needs to be
freed)
● In order to be able to replace the modes that come to dominate and destruct social and
natural life, these alternative economic-political-cultural production and reproduction
networks needs to be linked to industrial and agricultural workers as well as excluded
ones in and around actual and virtual social spaces (Refuges) on the road to dignity.
2. Refuges can be thought as nodes constituting the organs of the social body; that can be thought of as
an Internet of good things, people, knowledge, and struggles. Transnational chains of value liberation by
linking the Refuge spaces across emancipatory production lines would then be the skeleton of such a
social body. These networks and chains needs to put the current capitalistic relationships and
representations upside down and inside out; reverse engineering of existing signs and technologies,
modification and invention new ones need to be during the process of Collective Worker’s global and
transnational self-organization. This means global working class’ Should be simultaneously making of
itself through its struggles by self-organizing its exodus, on the road dignity, in unified fields and spaces of:
- networked political activities and resistances (superstructural)
Local state, national jurisdiction, transnational governance and the ideological institutional apparatus
(medium) ‘of commodification’ needs to be reversed.
- networked economical Activities and Resistances (Infrastructural)
Logistics, production, finance, and meta-data fields
- networked cultural activities and resistances (deep-structural)
Education, science, spirituality (as collective therapy, detox, and reborn)
3. As for how to ‘finance’ this ‘enterprise’, or free ourselves from these categories:
From WikiPedia:
“Finance is a field that deals with the study of investments. It includes the dynamics of assets and
liabilities over time under conditions of different degrees of uncertainty and risk. Finance can also be
defined as the science of money management. A key point in finance is the time value of money, which
states that purchasing power of one unit of currency can vary over time. Finance aims to price assets
based on their risk level and their expected rate of return. Finance can be broken into three different sub-
categories: public finance, corporate finance and personal finance.”
Autonomous Financial Market regulation authorities and agencies, autonomous and private central banks,
corporate and public governance regulatory agencies, public private partnerships, investment agencies,
stock exchanges,...
Above are the synaptic-global networks of commodification at an higher abstract level, they are also networks of dispossession. Such
class antagonism has been generating and imposing structural limitations on emancipatrt agency. The ability to move beyond, or
transcending the intra-capitalist and inter-class antagonisms needs to be transcended at once is the key to be able to turn the tide. For
this there needs to be a genuine grassroots sun-leadership (collective brain of a transnational and networked prince) needs to be built;
a moral and ideological leadership, giving clear vision and sense of classless societies. (as an absolute humanist critique of cognitive
capitalism analysis of entrepreneurship and ethical-capital for the commons)
4. Effective strategic vision needs to be able to deliver trusted and working means and ways of integrating
the modules of the Value chains and Refuges net. So that realization of exchanges and interactions that
de-commodify ‘land’, ‘labor’, ‘data’, and ‘money’ grows its culture and politics; that simultaneously
dismantle current logis of ‘property’, ‘trade’, ‘production’, ‘capital’, and ‘meta-data’. Some of the existing
hacktivism/reverse engineering experiments targeting public, corporate, and personal finance:
- Politically targeting corporate finance (Occupy WallSt., Blockupy-ECB, IMF, WB,...Robin Hood,...)
- Changing the direction of privatized public and social finance (Open cooperatives, platform
cooperativism, QE for the People, Partner State, Coop-Funding, coop credit, so on)
Such experiments are much needed since they provide ideas about challenging (if not saving) the current
system (dying), but also ideas of how to avoid the emergence of worse (can not born) by connecting the
good alternatives promising to transcend the both (capitalist and meta-data leviathan). These experiments
are not thought as vectors of exodus but they might be adopted on the road. They do not directly generate
de-commodification, it's relationships or processes; real struggle to be given and networked at the
personal finance level -in daily life and living social spaces, by continuously resisting cooptation..
Production of the revolutionary/emancipatory subject
● Here comes in the role and need for the moral, ideological, aesthetic and existential
collective leadership of classless consciousness, that emerge in and during the
emancipatory and revolutionary production (of Refuges and Internetwork of value
unchains). This happens exactly in the space-time, virtual or actual, where and when
social relationships of production, distribution, ownership, Designed, organized, executed,
and regulated comradely
● Ethical and moral social relationships can not be disembedded from the social; non-
cooptation needs to be open for common control control (non-relation to enemy funding
and agenda) maintained and guaranteed by the help of technical and communicational
tools: Appropriation and modification of the enemy tools and manners needs to be openly
and collectively justified. Creation and improvement of the classlessness consciousness
would be guaranteed by the autonomy and the colonization of the existing politico-cultural-
economical (unified fields).
● Not only for money, trust is the base of many other forms of Social relationships, especially
for emancipatory ones. That is why is needs to be -actually, virtually, and continuously-
produced and reproduced by open, naive, and collective evaluation and communication;
● In order to abstract tools and media that enable and foster exchange and autonomous
circulation amongst commoners and commons creating and liberating value chains (as well
as expansion and colonization of capitalist forms) such medium needs to be abstracted from
moral and ethical relationships (real trust, comradeship, and fraternity) of such ekonomia.
● Existing experiments with reverse engineering of tools and channels of communication,
exchange, distribution, so on can be evaluated and developed to serve realizing and
expansion of such.
● Elimination of reproduction of language and culture of top down managerial and entrepreneurship cult. Emergence of
classless, dispossessed masses of refugees running from imperialism and wars towards fascism, and those who
seek refuges from barbarism of austerity and intensifying exploitation needs to get organised collectively and
simultaneously. Thinking of ‘entrepreneurial’ or ‘public’ finance for such self-organizing effort is misleading. In place
of Hacker, Engineer, Entrepreneur, or technologist ethos, moral and ethical norms of global
proletariat -with classless consciousness needs to be established.
● Vision of getting ‘richer’, joyful, healthier, happier, more exciting, may be less safe but living culture within reachable
possibility in being dispossessed, being detoxed from possessions that possess the self, while detoxing nature from
all those poisonous commodities needs to grow out media blockade.
Platform Cooperativism vs Platform Capitalism, Cooperative Finance vs. Corporate Finance,
Commonwealth vs Private Wealth, … logical starting ideas, but always ends up with creating mirror
image of emerging ruling classes. That is why we need to think of beyond this oppositions.
Instead there is a need for building neutral spaces where knowledge, culture, material, and data
production and distribution comradely, simultaneously and autonomously organised, de-organized,
and reorganized, beyond sectoral, vectoral, identity, and geographical divisions; community bases
needs to be bridged by shared pools of tools, recipes, translations, and skills between:
Social spaces, squats, factory occupations (activist, autonomous communitarian political and
cultural spaces)
Hacker and makerspaces (libertarian, hobbyist, spaces of socialization),
Media-labs, fab-labs, co-worker spaces (spaces of entrepreneurial self-exploitation)
Art, design, software development platforms and online creation cooperatives
● Linking alternative production spaces to each other and to communities of labour in capital
and excluded:
○ Organizing workers around online and actual employment agencies, as well as
linking them to alternative economy circuits
○ Building of a solidarity call centers: communications based support lines, Advice,
training or other requests coming from unemployed, migrants, refugees, or others in
need (via email, chat, free calls, forums): where people can take up in coming
requests and respond, then register the task done (on a secure open accounting or
open value system); in return of livelihoods, tokens, fair-or Bitcoin)
○ in parallel organizing call center and logistic workers globally (ex- and current)
around such projects; to integrate or interact around these spaces and projects.
○ Providing strike or action support, (material, kitchens, design-campaign, action and
legal advise, so on)
● To this end geographies and agendas, spaces and actions, tools and methodologies
needs to be put in touch on an equal and neutral spaces and larger mobilisations. Not
those designed or prepared by only one of the ‘hegemonic’ agencies or actors.
Networganizing, towards, around, and beyond, big happenings
● Wikileaks, Snowden revelations, Tunis, 15M, Occupy, Gezi …
● Vio-me, Transnational Social Strike, WSF ...
● AlterSummit, Blockupy, Diem25...
● Refugee crisis, rising fascism, civil wars, world war...
● ….

Tektology and class

  • 1. Production of the Revolutionary/Emancipatory Subject and the Subject of Revolutionary/Emancipatory Production TEKTOLOGY CLASS
  • 2. Ali Koc: “Real problem is capitalism, in the name of equality it must be dismissed”, 11.2015
  • 3. Age of complexity, chaos, control, crisis & change A. Making of the Enemy, and the Enemy within a. Algorithmic brotherhood of the Quant-Technologists+Money Capital+ Meta-Data Capital (IoT) b. Real Economy brotherhood of Industrial capital+hardware+telecom (Industrial Internet) c. BRICS and OPEC state classes and transnational capital interacts with the above d. Transnational and Systemic Clashes of the Titans: towards World-Wide-War and Fascism B. Connecting the dots in collective worker’s global brain against the 1% (assa whole) a. Stronger ties between translocal ‘de-commodity un-chains’ b. Building transnational internet of good people, ideas, and things c. A global network of refuges C. Moral and intellectual leadership: Spaces of comradely and cooperative praxis of de-proleterianisation a. Not only imagining and talking about it, but establishing ethic of classlessness b. Collective classlessness consciousness as the networked prince c. Grassroot spread of praxis and culture and bottom up emancipatory revolution
  • 4. Transnationalization, Financialisation, and Informationalization (Globalisation/Totalisation of capital) Data needs to be seen as a factor of production, first emerged in subordinate position to money capital in neoliberal era; with the commodification of ideas (IP regime-GATS) which was followed by the emergence of the rule of algorithmic models which solved the quantification of social and cultural qualities, abstract data asserts itself over all other factors of production (land, labour, and fixed capital), and the Schumpeterian category ‘entrepreneurship’ (expertise and network of the class agency). Today abstract data has emerged as the factor of production which is capable of extracting value out of and swallow entire value chains; it is not only able to subordinate the land, labour, and fixed capital, but also money form. Therefore the agency of Data Capital has entered the intra-capitalist class war, with its corporate forms as Google, Facebook, Bitcoin; and proposed mode of accumulations in form of Industrial Internet, and Internet of Things.
  • 5. Clashes of the Titans Capitalist class analysis of scattered enemy line: Data Capital (Fusch, Holmes, Witheford, Wark, Pasquinelli), Money and Productive Capital (Cox, Gill, Van der Pijl and Overbeek) on the one hand and State Capitalism in BRICs Networks of capital fractions from Lockean West, Vassal and Contender State-Society complexes is the basis of Transnational and systemic struggles thesis (developed by Van der Pijl). Partly in accordance with uneven and combined development thesis; these work provides better enemy analysis then that is provided by Hardt and Negri and cognitive capitalism theory. However for a better ground for effective counter strategy all needs to be taken seriously. Needs to be seen that the sharp reform vision to save the capital, has been picked up and implemented. This needs special attention since as an aspect of this systematic and transnational intra-ruling-class struggles (also of the inter-class struggle) the capital has gained expertise to hook up with the radical movements; Expertise on social network and complexity management developed in certain hubs nodes, and interlocking roles played by certain people. Harvard Law School, MIT, Yale, Pennsylvania U. (for instance Benkler and De Philippi sits in the WEF agenda setting groups), New Economy Foundation and New Economy Coalition (in the US) funded by British Royal OAK foundation, The Next System project’s coordinator is a leading figure in the Club of Rome (which promotes Social Capitalism and Good Global Governance via works of group called Syndicate). Funding is used to create civil society by ruling class fractions to counterbalance each other, as well as covert action; meanwhile they counter increasingly independent posture of emerging new ruling class fractions from ex-periphery by imperialism.
  • 6. Subject of the revolutionary/emancipatory production 1. There are many experimentation going on like in every crisis-renaissance periods. For the good there is yet need for a holistic co-operation towards de-commodification (commonification) of land (agriculture and trade), labour and fixed capital (industry), money capital (finance), data and information (ICTs); ● A comprehensive and bottom-up-coordination of these reverse engineering experiments in different fields needs to be thought as R&D of the modules of global and transnational alternative production networks; to be integrated outside the influence and circuits of capital fractions; and state elite (data, money, labour, land, power, atom needs to be freed) ● In order to be able to replace the modes that come to dominate and destruct social and natural life, these alternative economic-political-cultural production and reproduction networks needs to be linked to industrial and agricultural workers as well as excluded ones in and around actual and virtual social spaces (Refuges) on the road to dignity.
  • 7. 2. Refuges can be thought as nodes constituting the organs of the social body; that can be thought of as an Internet of good things, people, knowledge, and struggles. Transnational chains of value liberation by linking the Refuge spaces across emancipatory production lines would then be the skeleton of such a social body. These networks and chains needs to put the current capitalistic relationships and representations upside down and inside out; reverse engineering of existing signs and technologies, modification and invention new ones need to be during the process of Collective Worker’s global and transnational self-organization. This means global working class’ Should be simultaneously making of itself through its struggles by self-organizing its exodus, on the road dignity, in unified fields and spaces of: - networked political activities and resistances (superstructural) Local state, national jurisdiction, transnational governance and the ideological institutional apparatus (medium) ‘of commodification’ needs to be reversed. - networked economical Activities and Resistances (Infrastructural) Logistics, production, finance, and meta-data fields - networked cultural activities and resistances (deep-structural) Education, science, spirituality (as collective therapy, detox, and reborn)
  • 8. 3. As for how to ‘finance’ this ‘enterprise’, or free ourselves from these categories: From WikiPedia: “Finance is a field that deals with the study of investments. It includes the dynamics of assets and liabilities over time under conditions of different degrees of uncertainty and risk. Finance can also be defined as the science of money management. A key point in finance is the time value of money, which states that purchasing power of one unit of currency can vary over time. Finance aims to price assets based on their risk level and their expected rate of return. Finance can be broken into three different sub- categories: public finance, corporate finance and personal finance.” Autonomous Financial Market regulation authorities and agencies, autonomous and private central banks, corporate and public governance regulatory agencies, public private partnerships, investment agencies, stock exchanges,... Above are the synaptic-global networks of commodification at an higher abstract level, they are also networks of dispossession. Such class antagonism has been generating and imposing structural limitations on emancipatrt agency. The ability to move beyond, or transcending the intra-capitalist and inter-class antagonisms needs to be transcended at once is the key to be able to turn the tide. For this there needs to be a genuine grassroots sun-leadership (collective brain of a transnational and networked prince) needs to be built; a moral and ideological leadership, giving clear vision and sense of classless societies. (as an absolute humanist critique of cognitive capitalism analysis of entrepreneurship and ethical-capital for the commons)
  • 9. 4. Effective strategic vision needs to be able to deliver trusted and working means and ways of integrating the modules of the Value chains and Refuges net. So that realization of exchanges and interactions that de-commodify ‘land’, ‘labor’, ‘data’, and ‘money’ grows its culture and politics; that simultaneously dismantle current logis of ‘property’, ‘trade’, ‘production’, ‘capital’, and ‘meta-data’. Some of the existing hacktivism/reverse engineering experiments targeting public, corporate, and personal finance: - Politically targeting corporate finance (Occupy WallSt., Blockupy-ECB, IMF, WB,...Robin Hood,...) - Changing the direction of privatized public and social finance (Open cooperatives, platform cooperativism, QE for the People, Partner State, Coop-Funding, coop credit, so on) Such experiments are much needed since they provide ideas about challenging (if not saving) the current system (dying), but also ideas of how to avoid the emergence of worse (can not born) by connecting the good alternatives promising to transcend the both (capitalist and meta-data leviathan). These experiments are not thought as vectors of exodus but they might be adopted on the road. They do not directly generate de-commodification, it's relationships or processes; real struggle to be given and networked at the personal finance level -in daily life and living social spaces, by continuously resisting cooptation..
  • 10. Production of the revolutionary/emancipatory subject ● Here comes in the role and need for the moral, ideological, aesthetic and existential collective leadership of classless consciousness, that emerge in and during the emancipatory and revolutionary production (of Refuges and Internetwork of value unchains). This happens exactly in the space-time, virtual or actual, where and when social relationships of production, distribution, ownership, Designed, organized, executed, and regulated comradely ● Ethical and moral social relationships can not be disembedded from the social; non- cooptation needs to be open for common control control (non-relation to enemy funding and agenda) maintained and guaranteed by the help of technical and communicational tools: Appropriation and modification of the enemy tools and manners needs to be openly and collectively justified. Creation and improvement of the classlessness consciousness would be guaranteed by the autonomy and the colonization of the existing politico-cultural- economical (unified fields).
  • 11. ● Not only for money, trust is the base of many other forms of Social relationships, especially for emancipatory ones. That is why is needs to be -actually, virtually, and continuously- produced and reproduced by open, naive, and collective evaluation and communication; ● In order to abstract tools and media that enable and foster exchange and autonomous circulation amongst commoners and commons creating and liberating value chains (as well as expansion and colonization of capitalist forms) such medium needs to be abstracted from moral and ethical relationships (real trust, comradeship, and fraternity) of such ekonomia. ● Existing experiments with reverse engineering of tools and channels of communication, exchange, distribution, so on can be evaluated and developed to serve realizing and expansion of such. ● Elimination of reproduction of language and culture of top down managerial and entrepreneurship cult. Emergence of classless, dispossessed masses of refugees running from imperialism and wars towards fascism, and those who seek refuges from barbarism of austerity and intensifying exploitation needs to get organised collectively and simultaneously. Thinking of ‘entrepreneurial’ or ‘public’ finance for such self-organizing effort is misleading. In place of Hacker, Engineer, Entrepreneur, or technologist ethos, moral and ethical norms of global proletariat -with classless consciousness needs to be established. ● Vision of getting ‘richer’, joyful, healthier, happier, more exciting, may be less safe but living culture within reachable possibility in being dispossessed, being detoxed from possessions that possess the self, while detoxing nature from all those poisonous commodities needs to grow out media blockade.
  • 12. Platform Cooperativism vs Platform Capitalism, Cooperative Finance vs. Corporate Finance, Commonwealth vs Private Wealth, … logical starting ideas, but always ends up with creating mirror image of emerging ruling classes. That is why we need to think of beyond this oppositions. Instead there is a need for building neutral spaces where knowledge, culture, material, and data production and distribution comradely, simultaneously and autonomously organised, de-organized, and reorganized, beyond sectoral, vectoral, identity, and geographical divisions; community bases needs to be bridged by shared pools of tools, recipes, translations, and skills between: Social spaces, squats, factory occupations (activist, autonomous communitarian political and cultural spaces) Hacker and makerspaces (libertarian, hobbyist, spaces of socialization), Media-labs, fab-labs, co-worker spaces (spaces of entrepreneurial self-exploitation) Art, design, software development platforms and online creation cooperatives
  • 13. ● Linking alternative production spaces to each other and to communities of labour in capital and excluded: ○ Organizing workers around online and actual employment agencies, as well as linking them to alternative economy circuits ○ Building of a solidarity call centers: communications based support lines, Advice, training or other requests coming from unemployed, migrants, refugees, or others in need (via email, chat, free calls, forums): where people can take up in coming requests and respond, then register the task done (on a secure open accounting or open value system); in return of livelihoods, tokens, fair-or Bitcoin) ○ in parallel organizing call center and logistic workers globally (ex- and current) around such projects; to integrate or interact around these spaces and projects. ○ Providing strike or action support, (material, kitchens, design-campaign, action and legal advise, so on) ● To this end geographies and agendas, spaces and actions, tools and methodologies needs to be put in touch on an equal and neutral spaces and larger mobilisations. Not those designed or prepared by only one of the ‘hegemonic’ agencies or actors.
  • 14. Networganizing, towards, around, and beyond, big happenings ● Wikileaks, Snowden revelations, Tunis, 15M, Occupy, Gezi … ● Vio-me, Transnational Social Strike, WSF ... ● AlterSummit, Blockupy, Diem25... ● Refugee crisis, rising fascism, civil wars, world war... ● ….
