Summer plans

  1. 1. Some have been curious about what happens, here at the offices of the NCC Focus, during our summer break. Well, for starters we reluctantly leave our desks and the computers and try to lighten up a bit. The typists are put on a more flexible schedule.
  2. 2. We tend to get overburdened during the year, with all the work, the carpooling and the sleep debt that builds up
  3. 3. To stay healthy you need to take a break now and then. So as the summer approaches we at the Focus have eased up some. There are, for example, office pillow fights and other horsing around.
  4. 4. It is easy to lose one’s perspective, from too much work. You would be a real pinhead not to plan some fun activities for the summer. You don’t want to just hang around your place all the time, although that can be nice too, in its own way.
  5. 5. So it’s time to put off yet again those chores, like picking up your place, and instead plan out some summer fun. There will be plenty of time later to do that cleanup that you need to do. After all, you can make a fetish out of that sort of thing. We plan to mostly just relax this summer, like curl up with a good book or two.
  6. 6. We will catch up on our reading, listen to a little music, maybe take a trip — just to get away for a while, and generally take it easy, with some quiet times at home, as well.
  7. 7. We will dress casually. Order a little take-out. Maybe do a few simple tasks, like clean out the pantry. But mostly just relax and take it easy. And that is what our summer will be. And you?
