  4. 4.  Response to the SDGs is critical, it is not only an agenda.  They became the universal framework to all: people, institutions and every single individual.  The only way to develop lasting effective responses is by engaging local context and individuals, also embracing innovation.  The UN Innovation network has been set up recently having 400 NGOs representatives of the 79 states.  The goal is to increase the relevant and actionable and local implementation, in order to see what works, and what doesn’t, and amplify these learnings into policies and practice Keynote: Michael Møller Under Secretary General of the UN and Director General of the United Nations Office

Looking towards 2019  How to translate policies and research results, recommendations into practice?  The question of synthetizing and creating standards for large scale pilot experiments?  How to reach out and engage the citizens in working towards the SDGs?  Question of the SRL – Social Readiness Level

Our offer: bringing theory into practice  Co-creation and identification of the most pressing societal challenges with multi-stakeholder panels (G-STIC2018)  Experimenting with ideas in real life scenarios via the international chain of living labs (from G-STIC2018 -> untilOLLD19)  Further elaborating the early-phase prototypes on dedicated workshops (OLLD19)  Reflecting on challenges, results and achievements (G-STIC2019)  Shifting the mindset and enhancing acceptance of Digital Technologies moving towards Digital Societies (long-term goal)
