JESUS CLEANSES A LEPER __________________________________________________ Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneelingdown to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You canmake me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion,stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I amwilling; be cleansed.” As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy lefthim, and he was cleansed. And He strictly warned him andsent him away at once, and said to him, “See that you saynothing to anyone, but go your way, show yourself to the priest,and offer for your cleansing those things which Mosescommanded, as a testimony to them.” However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely,and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openlyenter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and theycame to Him from every direction. Mark 1:40-45 1

JESUS HEALS A CENTURION’S SERVANT __________________________________________________ Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurioncame to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant islying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus saidto him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answeredand said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come undermy roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers underme. And I say to this one, „Go,‟ and he goes; and to another,„Come,‟ and he comes; and to my servant, „Do this,‟ and he doesit.”When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those whofollowed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such greatfaith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will comefrom east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, andJacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdomwill be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping andgnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and asyou have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servantwas healed that same hour. Matthew 8:5-13 2
  3. 3. JESUS FORGIVES AND HEALS A PARALYTIC __________________________________________________ So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His owncity. Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on abed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son,be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”And at once someof the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do youthink evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, „Your sinsare forgiven you,‟ or to say, „Arise and walk‟? But that you mayknow that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and goto your house.” And he arose and departed to his house. Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveledandglorified God, who had given such power to men. Matthew 9:1-8 3
  4. 4. HEALING ON THE SABBATH __________________________________________________ And He entered the synagogue again, and a man wasthere who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely,whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they mightaccuse Him. And He said to the man who had the witheredhand, “Step forward.” Then He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to dogood or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent.And when He had looked around at them with anger, beinggrieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man,“Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his handwas restored as whole as the other. Mark 3:1-5 4

THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD __________________________________________________ Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years,who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not behealed by any, came from behind and touched the border of Hisgarment, and immediately her flow of blood stopped. AndJesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with himsaid,“Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say,„Who touched Me?‟ ” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, forI perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the womansaw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and fallingdown before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all thepeople the reason she had touched Him and how she washealed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of goodcheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:43-48 5

TWO BLIND MEN HEALED __________________________________________________ When Jesus departed from there, two blind menfollowed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercyon us!” And when He had come into the house, the blind mencame to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that Iam able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched theireyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And theireyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying,“See that no one knows it.” But when they had departed, theyspread the news about Him in all that country. Matthew 9:27-31 6
  7. 7. A GENTILE SHOWS HER FAITH __________________________________________________ Then Jesus went out from there and departed to theregion of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaancame from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Havemercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severelydemon-possessed.” But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Sendher away, for she cries out after us.” But He answered andsaid, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house ofIsrael.” Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, helpme!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take thechildren‟s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said,“Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fallfrom their masters‟ table.” Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, greatis your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughterwas healed from that very hour. Matthew 15:21-28 7

JESUS HEALS A DEAF-MUTE __________________________________________________ Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, Hecame through the midst of the region of Decapolis to the Sea ofGalilee. Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and hadan impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put Hishand on him. And He took him aside from the multitude, and put Hisfingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. Then,looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,”that is, “Be opened.” Immediately his ears were opened, and the impedimentof his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. Then Hecommanded them that they should tell no one; but the more Hecommanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. Andthey were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done allthings well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute tospeak.” Mark 7:31-37 8
  9. 9. A BLIND MAN HEALED AT BETHSAIDA __________________________________________________ Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blindman to Him, and begged Him to touch him. He took the blindman by the hand and led him out of the town. And when Hehad spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him ifhe saw anything. And he looked up and said, “I see men liketrees, walking.” Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made himlook up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. ThenHe sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into thetown, nor tell anyone in the town.” Mark 8:22-26 9
  10. 10. RESTORING A WOMAN CRIPPLED FOR EIGHTEEN YEARS __________________________________________________ Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on theSabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit ofinfirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in noway raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her toHim and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from yourinfirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately shewas made straight, and glorified God. But the ruler of the synagogue answered withindignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and hesaid to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought towork; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on theSabbath day.” The Lord then answered him and said,“Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose hisox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? Soought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whomSatan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosedfrom this bond on the Sabbath?” And when He said these things, all His adversarieswere put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all theglorious things that were done by Him. Luke 13:10-17 10

A MAN WITH DROPSY HEALED ON THE SABBATH __________________________________________________ Now it happened, as He went into the house of one ofthe rulers of the Pharisees to eat bread on the Sabbath, thatthey watched Him closely. And behold, there was a certain manbefore Him who had dropsy.And Jesus, answering, spoke to thelawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on theSabbath?”But they kept silent. And He took him and healedhim, and let him go. Then He answered them, saying, “Which of you, havinga donkeyor an ox that has fallen into a pit, will notimmediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?” And they couldnot answer Him regarding these things. Luke 14:1-6 11

HEALING THE TEN LEPERS __________________________________________________ And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that hepassed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.And as heentered into a certain village, there met him ten men that werelepers, which stood afar off. They lifted up their voices, andsaid, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us”. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shewyourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as theywent, they were cleansed.And one of them, when he saw thathe was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorifiedGod, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks.He was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, “Were therenot ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory toGod except this foreigner?”And he said unto him, Arise, go thyway: thy faith hath made thee whole. Luke 17:11-19 12
  13. 13. A BLIND MAN RECEIVES HIS SIGHT __________________________________________________ Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, thata certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing amultitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told himthat Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he cried out,saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Then those who went before warned him that he should bequiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercyon me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be broughtto Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, saying,“What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that Imay receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Receive yoursight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight, and followedHim, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gavepraise to God. Luke 18:35-43 13
  14. 14. A NOBLEMAN’S SON HEALED __________________________________________________ So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He hadmade the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whoseson was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus hadcome out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and imploredHim to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point ofdeath. Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signsand wonders, you will by no means believe.” The nobleman saidto Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!” Jesus said tohim, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed theword that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met himand told him, saying, “Your son lives!” Then he inquired ofthem the hour when he got better. And they said to him,“Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” So thefather knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus saidto him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his wholehousehold. This again is the second sign Jesus did when He hadcome out of Judea into Galilee. John 4:46-54 14
  15. 15. A MAN BORN BLIND RECEIVES SIGHT __________________________________________________ Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blindfrom birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, whosinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, butthat the works of God should be revealed in him.“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; thenight is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in theworld, I am the light of the world.” When He had said these things, He spat on the groundand made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of theblind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in thepool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went andwashed, and came back seeing. Therefore the neighbors and those who previously hadseen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat andbegged?” Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.”He said, “I am he.”Therefore they said to him, “How were youreyes opened?” He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clayand anointed my eyes and said to me, „Go to the pool of Siloamand wash.‟ So I went and washed, and I received sight.” John 9:1-11 15
