In a new report released today, Mr. Ban recommends that the Security Council extend the UN Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) for another six months, with the Mission being subject to further downsizing from 23 January, as requested by the Nepalese Government.   6. 6. Mrs. Ban Soon-Taek visits a drop-in centre for street children “ Mr. Ban ’s hard work and determination made him the Secretary General of UN. If you too do not lose hope, you can be like him one day,” she said, when a child at Bisauni asked her how he could be as renowned as the Secretary General.
