  • The goal is to inspire and motivate foster youth to believe they can be successful 9:00-10:00 a.m. Lisa will introduce Rhonda: Abandoned at the age of six months, raised by a mentally ill man and an alcoholic woman in a bizarre, abusive childhood, Rhonda used the coping skills for her childhood survival to find and fulfill her life’s purpose. Rhonda uses her books, speaking, radio and TV opportunities to help others find and fulfill their Assignments. There was a plan for Rhonda, and there is a plan for YOU too!

  • I was thinking about what other pictures I might have that would help tell the story.  Here's a picture that was taken of me when I had a black eye.  There aren't many pictures of me as a child.  so, when the people doing a brochure for my company years back asked me for a photo, I gave them this one, and they "photoshopped" out the black eye.  I never got the original back.  This is all I have.   On the day this picture was going to be taken, the people who raised me washed my hair and I washed the only dress that fit me because they knew this picture was going to be taken.   They said I slipped and fell, hitting my eye on the corner of a table.  The story was believed.  As an aside, this picture was not taken in our neighborhood.  There were no nicely manicured lawns and sidewalks in the "Hells Angels" neighborhood I grew up in.
