The Ohio ProStart ® Program <ul><li>The foodservice industry in Ohio is a big business… </li></ul><ul><li> </li></ul><ul><li>… and we are looking for educated professionals. </li></ul><ul><li>Over the next decade, the industry is expected to create an additional 2 million jobs and 47,000 will be management positions. </li></ul>

National ProStart Student Invitational ® <ul><li>The Competition: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Ohio ProStart ® students participate in state competition in culinary arts and management </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Winners of the state competition travel to compete nationally against other state ProStart students </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Funded by scholarships and donations </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Teaches skills and competencies that serve students into college and the adult workforce, including: </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Team work, planning, presentation, technical capabilities in culinary arts and management </li></ul></ul></ul>
