  2. 2. Manager's Meeting<br />General Rules<br /><ul><li> Games will consist of 3 periods, each 12 minutes long
  3. 3. Teams have one time out that can be called in the last two minutes of play if the team is down by 2 goals.
  4. 4. Mercy Rule:
  5. 5. a team leading by 7 goals in the 3rd period will automatically win.
  6. 6. Out of bounds:
  7. 7. The wall behind the benches and scoreboard is considered out.

  10. 10. 2 men and 2 women plus a goalie of either gender

Manager's Meeting<br />Required Goalie Equipment<br /><ul><li> Goalie equipment will be </li></ul> provided by the Campus Rec<br /> department.<br /><ul><li> Goalies may not switch during a </li></ul> period.<br /><ul><li> Goalies may not cross center </li></ul> court.<br /><ul><li> Offensive players may not enter </li></ul> the crease unless the ball is <br /> already in that area of play. <br />

Manager's Meeting<br />Unsportsmanlike Penalties<br /><ul><li> Players receiving any combination of 3 penalties will be ejected from the </li></ul> game and the facility. <br /><ul><li> Major penalties, misconduct penalties and game misconduct penalties </li></ul> will all result in the player’s ejection.<br /><ul><li> Penalties from the bench will be assessed to the team’s captain.
  18. 18. This is a NON – CHECKING league. There is to be no intentional contact </li></ul> between the players. <br /><ul><li>Minor penalties will be a 2 minute penalty
  19. 19. Major penalties will be a 5 minute penalty unless an ejection is warranted.</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Unsportsmanlike Penalties<br /><ul><li> Sticks cannot be lifted above the crossbar.
  20. 20. If raising the stick above the crossbar creates a dangerous situation, a 2 minute minor penalty will be issued.

A stick check that results in a high stick will result in a penalty against the </li></ul> player committing the stick check. <br /><ul><li> A team accumulating 6 minor penalties during one game will </li></ul> automatically lose the contest as a forfeit. <br /><ul><li>This does not include non-contact penalties like High Sticking</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Slashing & Hooking <br /><ul><li>Slashing:

  23. 23. Any player using their stick to slash an opponent’s body or stick will be assessed a slashing penalty.

  25. 25. Players may not hook or attempt to hook an opposing player with their stick. </li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Roughing and Checking<br /><ul><li> Floor Hockey is strictly a NON - CONTACT
  26. 26. Players cannot intentionally make contact with opposing players
  27. 27. Intentionally contacting an opposing player will result in a minor, major </li></ul> or game misconduct penalty.<br /><ul><li>The severity of the penalty will be at the judgment of the official</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Holding, Tripping & Interference<br /><ul><li> Players may not impede an opponent from progressing in play. Players </li></ul> using their hands or sticks to hold a player will be assessed a penalty <br /><ul><li> Interference will be called when a player obstructs an opponent’s </li></ul> movement that does not have possession or control of the ball.<br /><ul><li> Players using their body or stick to trip an opponent will be assessed a </li></ul> tripping penalty. <br />
