  2. 2. Manager's Meeting<br />General Rules<br /><ul><li>Matches consist of three games to 15 points.
  3. 3. First team to win two games wins the match.
  4. 4. If one team wins the first two games, a third game does not need to be played.
  5. 5. The match begins with a coin flip - they winner has two options:
  6. 6. Serve first
  7. 7. Initial choice of side
  8. 8. Teams switch sides after the first and second game.
  9. 9. Also switch sides after the leading team reaches eight points in the third game.</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Service<br /><ul><li>The server and receive stand in diagonally opposite courts.
  10. 10. The server’s racquet shall hit the base of the shuttle while the shuttle is below his or her waist.
  11. 11. If the server misses the shuttle it is not a viable service attempt.
  12. 12. The winning team of each point serves the next point.</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Service – Singles vs. Doubles<br /><ul><li>Singles
  13. 13. The server and receiver begin the point in their right courts if the server has an even score.
  14. 14. They begin the point in their left court if the server has an odd score.
  15. 15. Doubles
  16. 16. The player who serves and the player who receives in the first point always serve in the right court if their team has an even score.
  17. 17. Their partners always serve in the right court if their team has an odd score.</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Faults<br /><ul><li>Faults occur:
  18. 18. if the service is incorrect.
  19. 19. if after passing over the net, the shuttle is caught in the net.
  20. 20. if while in play, the shuttle lands outside the court, passes through or under the net, or fails to reach the net.
  21. 21. If a player contacts the shuttle on the opponent’s court.
  22. 22. If a player deliberately distracts an opponent.
  23. 23. If the shuttle is caught and held.
  24. 24. If the shuttle is hit twice in succession with two separate strokes.</li></li></ul><li>Manager's Meeting<br />Lets<br /><ul><li>Lets cancels all play since the last service and re-does the last service.
  25. 25. Lets are called in the following instances:
  26. 26. If a shuttle, after passing over the net, is caught in the net (does not apply during a service).
  27. 27. If the server serves before the returner is ready.
