  4. 4. •Wants and Needs•Iwanted to get on the mobile tech curve for work• And for me ;-)• Barriers: • $$$ (personal & corporate)
  5. 5. •WIIFM• Corporate: • Beneficial to teaching & learning. (?) • Lots of general articles saying both good and bad, but needed to see for ourselves • Improve the technological stance of NMIT (image is important) • Stay on the leading edge (from an IT teachers perspective) or else... • Be innovative and have fun!• Personal: • Stay current • Be innovative and have fun! • Use in my personal world -> work life balance challenge here! • Geek tool (toy :-P )
  6. 6. •But whos going to pay?• Probably me - but I cant afford it • So... who can help me and yet have some WIFFM too?• Firstly management: already open to innovation• Secondly retailers: keen to sell• Pitched a case to both using WIIFM
