  • Hello to class today. I hope you all enjoy your trip back in time to the Greek mythology period. My objective is to show you some ideas about how you can add some history, facts about myths, and fun to you’re content area classes. So here we go with Meet the Greeks.Teaching Idea: I ask about Hercules first because he is the most well known god. I will tell the class that at the end of my presentation we will go back to this picture and review what we learned. I will ask students to pick a god and tell who it is and a little their history. I will also ask if anyone has other teaching ideas for this god/goddess.
  • Queen of Mt Olympus she was older than Zeus and very beautiful. She could change forms and like d to become a bird Teaching Idea: In groups students would research marriage today and the different types of traditions today. Others will read about Hera and the traditions of marriage during the Greek period. They would then gave a presentation to the class from the internet information they found.
  • I will first ask what do you think the Zeus and ? “Mean?
