Yeast culture medium 20g Sugar 15g Agar Agar requirement for 1l protocol Weigh the ingriedents | Put everything, except the Agar Agar, in a Beaker | Add the water | S@r | Pour the mix into a boDle | Add the Agar Agar | Screw the lid of the boDle half way | Autoclave for 20’(using a pressure cooker) | Let it cool down not below 50 C°, as it will become gel | Cast the Petri Dishes | Wait for them to dry 10g Meat Extract (e.g. Liebig) 10g Yeast Extract (e.g. Marmite) 12g Food dye 1 l Water note The boDle can be stored at room temperature, remember to screw the lid. The Petri dishes can be sealed and stored in the fridge.
