  • One article can make such a difference~ In a year how many articles do you read? Some of us read hundreds. A great way to walk away from these articles is by utilizing the 3.2.1 principle….If you are super obbseessive about keeping track of what you read you could write the 3.2.1. down on a blooger or google doc….
  • But if you were to do that you would have to know How to use those tools…not only where do I find google docs or a glog but how to I insert information and what is the best format for insertiion…and that is exactly what the latest article I read about addresses.
  • This is a fasinating article about ….
  • not only do children have to learn to place items into glogster they must students mustcarefully examine multimodal literacy, thinking about how images, video, audio, text, and hyperlinks can be pulled together to create a unified message.
  • How does one assess a students blog or glog? There is no best method best methods of assessment..What we can do is have students explain to us why they chose the specific design…Teachers can then take this knowldege and decide on strengths and weaknesses,And …read quote…moreover we have Rubrics We can look at the selection of images, audio or video clip, and writing….this can give us insight into their ability to gatherinformation from sources…then you could ask~were the images used appropriate? ~were at least 3 images used, were multiple text captions used, was there a paragraphstating the position, was there an audio or video clip,
  • Now these 3 facts I found out from the article lead me to some new questions…First what resources should I go to to find research done on these topics….MY answer is…
  • How does one begin this conversation if it has not even started in your school?: Well I think, you find people who want to be onboard..Start there…

    9. 9. New ? # 2AKA: New Question Number Two “We encourage you to extend the assessment conversations in your schools to include pointed discussions of how you will best evaluate your students’ knowledge of 21st-century skills. These conversations are timely, although some would argue late, given the impact that technology has had on K–12 instruction.”
    10. 10. How Will I Use ThisInformation? When planning for integration of and instruction in digital technologies, we recommend that teachers begin with these standards in mind and use ongoing assessment to determine what students actually know rather than what we assume they know.
