Observations -● Before you enter: Signboards at the gate, Closed door.● Environment: Attractive brownish color, Relatively high ceiling, No music, Sparse, nice visibility.● Staff: very active, seem to follow a script or routine pattern, age - 20-25, no uniform.● Products: 1st product to get noticed - Merchandise, Central display, products arranged according to customer segments, free samples to test, prices – easy to find.● Customers: mostly 2 or 3 friends/family members, age - 25-40, don’t tend to follow any fixed direction or path, avg time spent – 2 hours, almost all customers end-up buying something.

Observations -● Before you enter: Beautiful glasses attract people, Open door.● Environment: Colorful, Active, Not very crowded neither sparse, light music.● Staff: mostly engaged in arranging products, no script to follow, age – 20-30, all in uniform.● Products: 1st product to get noticed – Nescafe Coffee, No central display, Arranged according to functionality, prices – easy to find.● Customers: From teenagers to family members – all age group people, no fixed direction to follow, avg time spent – 1 hour. 80% customers purchase.

Observations -● Before you enter: Big hoardings, Vendors outside, Open door.● Environment: Too much clutter, advertisements all around, noisy.● Staff: Active to help, script to follow, age – 20-30, all in uniform.● Products: 1st product to get noticed – Merchandise, No central display, arranged in brand-wise order, prices – easy to find.● Customers: mainly youngsters, tend to follow any fixed direction or path, avg time spent – 2 hours, 70-80% customers purchase.
