The technologies include using presentation software, computer games and simulations, digital images, word processing, surfing the internet, email, projectors and video screens, PDAs/smart phones, maritime simulators, and online library resources. Respondents are asked to check the box that best describes their feeling about each statement using a rating scale that interprets the numbers from 1 to 5 as levels of agreement from strongly disagree to strongly agree regarding the importance of each technology.
