On Jan. 23 the Waukee Community School District Board of Education listened to a presentation from the Parent Calendar Advisory Committee. Lance Mouw, Parent Calendar Committee Chair, presented the committee’s findings, which included what the committee had learned about the calendar process, the items that impact the school calendar, and suggestions for the board to consider.

  16. 16. + Our Conclusions  Our thinking has changed based on what we have learned about Waukee’s calendar process and the items that impact the school calendar.  Early-outs for on-the-job training  Educating parents and the community is very important.  We need to communicate survey results  Lance and D.T. will co-author a district bulletin article.
