Better Than Competitive Approaches Significant limitations to alternative approaches to combining flash and spinning disk: – Legacy arrays that couple flash SSDs with auto-tiering software: » Improve price-performance » Not competitive with ground-up designs that deliver equivalent performance with far less flash – All-flash arrays: » Relevant for high-performance niches » But can’t address the requirements of mainstream enterprise applications with regard to capacity efficiency » Not cost-effective to store hundreds of snapshots for rapid recoverability, or to replicate data for disaster recovery© 2013 Nimble Storage. 8

Becoming a Global Company Expanded our global presence significantly during the last year To better support our customers, we have added support centers in Raleigh, North Carolina and in the UK Now have employees in the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Benelux, Australia and Singapore Conduct business in several more countries through partners that further expand our scope of operations© 2013 Nimble Storage. 12

Extending our Innovation Lead New high-performance arrays, scale-to-fit launch and numerous feature enhancements In just five months since we launched these new capabilities, our higher-end arrays and our scaling capabilities have allowed us to win significantly larger deals Many new “multi-100 TB” and “double-digit-site” customers Other enhancements include deeper integration with CommVault, richer integration with VMware APIs – Enhance our differentiation and expand our solution scope© 2013 Nimble Storage. 13

Joint Solutions with Alliance Partners We invested significantly in strengthening our alliance relationships with a range of industry participants Our partnership with CommVault through the IntelliSnap™ Connect program strengthened our data protection solutions Our partnership with VMware and Cisco culminated in the SmartStack reference architecture We now have hundreds of customers implementing BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) initiatives and using us for VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) deployments© 2013 Nimble Storage. 14

The Year Ahead Aiming to continue top-line growth and pace of customer acquisition Continuing to invest in a robust channel ecosystem and systematically expanding our global presence Trend is toward diversification of our customer base, from mid-sized enterprises to include several large, global enterprises and large service providers We expect that trend to accelerate over the next 12 months© 2013 Nimble Storage. 16
