THE AUTUMN <ul><li>METHODOLOGY </li></ul><ul><li>We will work four lessons related wiyh the four seasons. </li></ul><ul><li>Each lesson has about three weeks of duration each one. </li></ul><ul><li>Each lesson will follow the same line. </li></ul><ul><li>Each lesson focused on specific vocabulary and various types of texts: songs, poems….. </li></ul>

We make questions about the autumn: </li></ul><ul><li>Which are the colours of Autumn? </li></ul><ul><li>What happens in Autumn? </li></ul><ul><li>What nuts can be found in Autumn? </li></ul>

  11. 11. THE AUTUMN <ul><li>Then we give two photocopies, first is about colouring a tree according the guide. </li></ul>  Tree : green. Bird: blue. The fall of the leaves: pink Autumn Harvest: orange. She is sweeping the leaves: yellow.

THE AUTUMN <ul><li>Finally, we give a photocopy, in which, they must complete the missing word. </li></ul><ul><li>The soft rain of autumn is called…….. </li></ul><ul><li>There are…….on the ground. </li></ul><ul><li>The…….of pumpkins, apples and </li></ul><ul><li>corn is in the autumn. </li></ul><ul><li>The leaves fall off the………. </li></ul><ul><li>The American call the autumn the…... </li></ul>
  15. 15. THE AUTUMN <ul><li>FOURTH CLASS </li></ul><ul><li>We start the class making a photocopy in which they must choose the appropriate letters to form the correct word. While all students finish, we can paint the picture of the photocopy. </li></ul>

THE AUTUMN <ul><li>After that, we make four groups: </li></ul><ul><li>Red leaves </li></ul><ul><li>Yellow leaves </li></ul><ul><li>Brown leaves </li></ul><ul><li>Green leaves </li></ul><ul><li>We will go to the park to pick-up leaves; each group should only take their leaves colour. </li></ul><ul><li>If you give us time, we hear a story about the fall. </li></ul>
  17. 17. THE AUTUMN <ul><li>FIFTH CLASS </li></ul><ul><li>We start the class painting a pumpkin, and then we turn that pumpkin into a mask. </li></ul>

THE AUTUMN <ul><li>SIXTH CLASS </li></ul><ul><li>We start the class hanging a leaf drawing on the blackboard and gluing the leaves we collected in the park. </li></ul><ul><li>We propose three activities: </li></ul><ul><li>• Make a nice title </li></ul><ul><li>• Write the poem of Mr. Pumpkin we learned the last class. </li></ul><ul><li>• Write the different colours of the leaves. </li></ul><ul><li>During the class we put music to do more fun this time. </li></ul>
