  9. 9. What now? <ul><li>Recently announced consultation on the proposed future model for Shibboleth. </li></ul><ul><li>It ’ s a consultation! Tell us what you think. </li></ul><ul><li>Open until the end of October 2011. </li></ul><ul><li>Consortium to open its doors from 01 January 2012. </li></ul>

What ’ s Available? <ul><li>Full Programme Plan, covering team roles, code contributions and development, benefit profiles, stakeholder mapping etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Analysis of Shibboleth Futures survey (Document ‘ A ’ ). </li></ul><ul><li>Review of the Foundation model (Document ‘ B ’ ). </li></ul><ul><li>Proposed Fee Model. </li></ul>

What is ‘ Phase 2 ’ <ul><li>Will continue to be a Consortium and not seek legal status / to be a Foundation right now. </li></ul><ul><li>Current team is releasing an Expressions of Interest document for someone to give us a home. </li></ul><ul><li>Other organizations will be invited to sign up as consortium members, or to donate to project. </li></ul><ul><li>Members can vote people on to the Shibboleth Consortium Board. </li></ul><ul><li>Everything else stays the same - open, open, open. </li></ul>

Consortium Contributions 1: Membership Membership Type Description Annual Fee A organizations maintaining a single identity provider or a small number of service providers £3,000 B communities, collaborations, funding bodies, or federations representing less than 50 organizations. £15,000 C communities, collaborations, funding bodies, or federations representing more than 50 organizations. £30,000
