I was going toconfront whoever did that face to face.“Ruff!ʼʼ “ Agh! ʼʼ I bounced as high as akangaroo. “Thatʼs it.ʼʼ I thought. I was going to confrontwhoever did that face to face.I got a helmet and a ﬂashlight and swiftlyjogged to the steps. I heard it again. “ Whoever is doingthat is a idiot. ʼʼ I thought.I thought it was really dark. I was reallyscared. “ What is that? Why is it doing that? ʼʼ I thought. I
was going to go up and get a bat when “ Ruff! ʼʼ “It wouldbe better to check. ʼʼ I thought.“ Ruff! ʼʼ I thought that I was going to get killed.“ Maybe it will run away from the light. ” I thought. I felt likescreaming so loud that my mom would ground me. I justkept on saying “ Be brave. ʼʼI reached the bottom step when “ Gr ” “ Wait aminute ... that sounds like a dog!!! ” I exclaimed. I wasnʼtscared of going downstairs anymore. I felt like going downand muzzling that dog.“Huh!ʼʼ I gasped. I was so scared that I wasPARALYSED IN HORROR!!! I dropped my ﬂashlight. Thehuge shadow was getting closer! The closer it got thebigger it got! I was unparalyse when his real appearancecame.I was ﬂabbergasted! It was hilarious. Icouldnʼt wait to show Mom. I couldnʼt wait to tell Matt. Thehuge shadow I was afraid of turned out to be my newpuppy!
