Management plans can take up an important role for the revitalisation of historic urban areas. Coordinate the sectoral field of safeguarding with all related sectoral fields for the development (integrated approach). Involve the stakeholders in the development and implementation of the management plan and its action (participative approach). Balance and coordinate the needs of the stakeholders and for the safeguarding of the cultural heritage (management approach).
