  5. 5. Page 5 OnSite SE Network Configuration Console Guide Onsite SE Network Configuration Console OnSite SE has a console interface for configuring the network. This is useful for both initial set up of the appliance as well as for changes to the network configuration in the future. The interface is designed more or less as a way to bring the system to a point where the main OnSite SE application is accessible from a browser. © 2007 Brivo Systems, LLC. 6. 6. Page 6 OnSite SE Network Configuration Console Guide Logging In To access the console interface, you must connect a monitor and keyboard to the OnSite SE appliance. Log in with the username admin and the password set for the initial administrator created the first time the web interface is accessed. If the web interface has not been accessed, thus no administrator has been configured; the admin user has no password. Simply press “Enter” when prompted for a password. © 2007 Brivo Systems, LLC. 12. 12. Page 12 OnSite SE Network Configuration Console Guide Reset Database to Factory Default It is occasionally necessary to simply reset the data on an OnSite SE appliance back to factory defaults. This will erase all account data and activity generated by the OnSite SE application. WARNING: This will erase all users, cards, schedules, holidays, devices and all event data from the system. The only way to get the data back is to restore from a backup. Figure 6. Reset database To erase all application data on the appliance: Select Reset database to factory default from the main menu. The ERASE ALL DATA screen displays. Read the warning – if this is really what you want to do, you must type 'Yes' at the prompt and press “Enter” to continue. All data will be erased. The “Quit” option exits the application and returns to a “login” prompt. © 2007 Brivo Systems, LLC. All rights reserved. 10/22/2007
