Google has recently launched 2-step verification. It will enhance your account security. Please watch the slide.
Activate 2 step Account Verification Google has recently launched two step account verification.
Step 1 (2-step verification) <ul><li>Step 1 is a quick guide about How to setup 2-step Verification.
Simply read and click the button “Set up 2-step verification” </li></ul>
Step 2 (Setup your Phone) <ul><li>In this step you will be ask to select your country and Phone Number
You have two options to verify your phone: either by Voice Message or by SMS </li></ul>
Step 2 (Setup your Phone) <ul><li>After entering your contact details hit “Send code” botton.
You will recieve call or SMS soon.
Enter the 6 digit code and click “Next” </li></ul>
Step 3 (Time for backup plan) <ul><li>In this step google will ask you to save ten 8 digit code provided as “Backup verification codes”
Print or Note down the codes and keep in vault.
Check the box and click “Next” </li></ul>
Step 4 (Assign backup number) <ul><li>In this step you will be asked to add another number for backup.
Process is same as Step-2. </li></ul>
Step 5 (You are done!) <ul><li>You have successfully activated your 2-step Account verification.
But one thing remains??
Probably you have allows some application to access Google account or you have used your google account as Open-Id!
If yes, One thing remains!! </li></ul>
Step 6 (Application specific password) <ul><li>Hit the “Next” Botton </li></ul>
Step 7 (Time to create password for you applications) <ul><li>Create passwords for your Applications! </li></ul>
Step 8 (Application specific Pwd.) <ul><li>In this step you will asked to save Application Specific Passwords.
Save them to get access. </li></ul>
Step 9 (There is no such thing) <ul><li>Hurrey! You have did this.
Now enable 2-step Verification </li></ul><ul><li>You will be asked at the time of login. </li></ul>
Thanks to Google <ul><li>You have now secured your Google Account.
You may grant access to your PC for 30 days (Same as “Remember Password” </li></ul><ul>Thanks to Google... </ul>
