The Development phaseIt is the actual production and assembly ofthe materials that were developed in thedesign phase.At this point it is important to includewhoever is responsible for which elements,time schedules, and deadlines. In thisphase, all audio, video, and coursewarematerials are collected, prepared, createdand ready to be tested.

The Development phaseA successful development step draws uponthe information collected in the analysisphase and the decisions made in the designphase and comes up with the details of thecontent.If the first two steps of ADDIE are doneproperly, then the training developmentphase should proceed smoothly and quickly.Now its easy to focus on writing /developing the materials.
  5. 5. The Development phaseDuring this phase, the following need be taken into account: List activities that will help the target audience learn the task. Select the delivery method most appropriate to the learning group. Develop and produce program materials, aids and instructional courseware. Combine the courseware into a smoothly transitioning presentation. Validate the material and presentation to ensure it meets all goals and objectives. Develop trainer guides, learner guides, job aids and participant resources as necessary. Prepare coaches and mentors who will be assisting with the training. Schedule participants.
  6. 6. The Development phaseThe development phase builds on the Process Performance Objectives andmeasurement tools constructed in the design phase. During thedevelopment phase, all audio, video, and text materials are collected,prepared, or created. Documentation is prepared and the product is readyto be tested.The product of this phase is a detailed plan of action that lists step-by-stepprocedures for implementing the change. The plan also needs to includewho is responsible for which elements of the project, and time schedulesand deadlines.

The Development phaseThe development phase in the ADDIE model of instructional designaddresses the tools and processes used to create instructional material.The development phase is the process of authoring and producing thematerials needed to meet the objectives.We will use Elicitus Express to build our e-content. Then use Raptivity tocreate intentions to our e-content.
