HUL turns global talent export hub for Unilever <ul><li>HUL managers moved out of India to join its parent’s operations : </li></ul><ul><ul><li>40 in 2008 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>140 in 2009 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>195 in 2010 (till April). </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Majority of HUL managers moved out of India to- Asia, East Europe , Africa and Singapore. </li></ul><ul><li>Talent of HUL is valued for the diversity of experience because of working in a big and complex market like India. </li></ul>

Paternity leaves on adoption in Haryana <ul><li>Male employees of the Haryana government who legally adopt a child below 1 year of age can claim 15 days’ paternity leave within 6 months from the date of adoption. </li></ul><ul><li>Facility would be available to whose having less than 2 surviving children. </li></ul><ul><li>Haryana government allows its female staff to take 180 days’ maternity leave, 730 days’ child care leave and 180 days’ child adoption leave. </li></ul>

Tata looking forward to life after retirement <ul><li>Ratan Tata is Chairman of group since 1991. </li></ul><ul><li>Tata group announced 5 member panel to choose a successor of Mr. Tata. </li></ul><ul><li>Ratan Tata chose to stay off the selection committee so that they have the freedom to examine and also that no one feel that he is driving the succession plan. </li></ul>

Rishad Premji is new strategy boss at Wipro <ul><li>Wipro’s current chief strategy officer and M&A head is Lakshminarayana K R(Lan), is taking over as chief endowment officer of the Trust set up to fund the philanthropic activities of Azim Premji. </li></ul><ul><li>Rishad Premji will only be in-charge of strategy (as chief strategy officer). </li></ul>

Contd.. <ul><li>Changes will be effective from January 2011. </li></ul><ul><li>Rishad moved into strategic function effective from 1 September, 2010 and overlapped with Lan through the current Strategic Plan cycle. </li></ul><ul><li>Wipro had made interim appointment of Sridhar Srinivasan as head of M&A. </li></ul><ul><li>The new structure of the M&A will be announced shortly:4-5 peoplr are shotlisted. </li></ul>

CJ George to step down as Geojit MD in 3 years <ul><li>CJ George is stepping down from the post of Managing Director in 2-3 years. </li></ul><ul><li>CJ George wish to move to non-executive, advisory level position. </li></ul><ul><li>Geojit has started looking for a professional to succeed Mr. CJ George as managing director. </li></ul><ul><li>The detailed plan for selection of a successor is being finalised by the company. </li></ul>
