With this approach, it is easier to improvise on its capabilities whenever new features are required. – A Hybris concept store with custom features: We developed custom features in Hybris store that better the offering in terms of ease of use, rich UI aiding sales.   18. 18. • The client is an implementer of UK's Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme. • We are engaging with the client for an end-to-end Hybris implementation. • We are implementing a responsive Hybris eCommerce based globally integrated membership portal consolidating the various existing .Net based portals across various regions and schemes for all member types into a single portal. The consolidated site had to be enhanced with more features. • The portal is being integrated with SAP Business ByDesign – A SaaS-based ERP system and with SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) . • In the portal, we are implementing unique features such as: – Multi-basket – multiple personalized carts for multiple regions and schemes. – Co-browsing – for customer service agents to guide the customer through the purchase process. • Non-Functional requirements (NFRs) like Performance and security were considered and planned for from the design stage.   21. 21. • The client is a leading multi-national technology company that designs and manufactures the electronic connectors, components and systems. • The client wanted to migrate their website to Hybris from their existing setup. • They also required Neev to model over 300000 products in Hybris. • Hybris is used for Product Catalog Management and AdobeCQ (AEM) for Content Management and for development of the website’s front-end. • Omni Commerce Connect (OCC) REST APIs used to pull product information from Hybris for import/display on Adobe CQ frontend. • Hybris features like Product catalog, product references, Solr search were used. • While MySQL was used for the database, Endeca was used for search. • The key challenge was the complexity involved in integration of Hybris with AdobeCQ.   23. 23. • We helped migrate this portal to Hybris platform, revamped the design and also added feature enhancements. • Using Hybris’s inbuilt functionality, we redesigned the entire portal. • The portal has three different packages on offer – Single report package, 10 report package and unlimited report package. The unlimited reports package which is available for only a month is now being handled through the subscription module in Hyrbis. • This module helps the admin track and record all user activity. It enables the users to view their information like purchase history, expiry date for the subscription, etc. through a customer dashboard. The portal also sends an automatic email alert to the user when the subscription is about to end prompting them to subscribe again. This is achieved through email triggers. • The portal also sends automatic email alerts to technical staff and admin alerting them of technical issues and sending logs of user activity. • The portal allows users to register and create their profiles. • We implemented payment gateway integration with Paypal and CyberSource. The choice of a payment gateway enables users without Paypal accounts to make payments. • We also implemented a feature that allows users to get a discount upon entering a coupon code. • SOAP services used for implementation. Hybris integrated with external servers through web services to fetch information. • Thirty-party end-user analytics implemented - Google Analytics, Web trends and Optimost. The marketplace depicts an e-mall with streets and stores like in the real world. Some of the unique features implemented in this marketplace are: • Search: – Realistic, multi-level (Eg: Household – Kitchen – Cooker) – Wide variety, customized (according to street, store, category, color, etc) • Ability to cancel individual items of an order instead of cancelling the whole order at once. • Customers receive two types of credit – Store credit and Mall credit.   43. 43. • Neev optimized the performance of a golf apparel and accessory website improving page load speeds and cutting hardware costs for the client. • With expertise in performance optimization techniques, Neev was able to accomplish this task successfully keeping the website up and running all the while. • GPP approached Neev with a Magento website that was extremely slow with page loads taking nearly 5 seconds, despite a higher server configuration. • Neev had to optimize the site performance and improve the page load time to 3.5 seconds. • A unique feature was the use of Varnish cache and Redis session techniques to improve site performance. The application could also work offline. • Neev used the iOS 6 SDK for developing the application. • The application was developed using SQL-Lite. User experience and usability were greatly improved. • Stored procedures were used to process the data in the backend and XML files were used for bulk data exporting.
