Why Should One look for Open Source, When there are Stronger Softwares like .NET from Companies like Microsoft.

  • You might want to change some slides :
    - PHP is not owned and was not developed by Sun. In fact Sun has nothing to do with PHP at all. The largest PHP company is Zend, founded by the people behind the Zend engine, which drives PHP
    - MySQL was not developed by Sun. It was developed as an open source project by Monty Widenius, who started MySQL AB. That company was recently bought by Sun.
    - Youtube doesn't run on PHP. It runs on Python.
