  1. 1. Program Description This course introduces students to the historical, societal, cultural and educationaltransformations of Romania, with a particularfocus on the region of Transylvania. Studentsparticipate in first-hand experiences involving interactions with local faculty, students and members of the larger community to learn about regional culture and its place in the wider Romanian and European context.
