Evaluation q1 q3

  1. 1. EvaluationQ2. How does you media product represent particular social groups? My media product was aimed at the ages between 16-19 year olds which come under the olderteenage/young adult audience meaning that my magazine needed to reflect this group of people. Idid some research into what my target audience wanted in a magazine and most of the researchcame back that they would like bright colours fun text and lots of images, so this is what I tried toachieve when creating my magazine. The people at my sixth form are fun, young and sociable peoplewhich means that colour and bright images were key when creating my magazine. I chose imagesthat reflect them by even including some of the students from my sixth form to model; they enjoyeddoing this and was excited to see the finished product.Q4. Who would be the audience for your media product?I think the people who would be most likely to want to read my magazine is both male and femalestudents between the age of 16-19 years old who enjoy reading about the latest posts at sixth formbut also the social side of being at sixth form such as fun events and the latest gossip, which I thinkcreates a wide target audience. I think my magazine grabs this target audience by having a goodcolour scheme, which looks formal and professional for the older target audience and also lots ofimages which I gathered from my research into my target audience they enjoyed. To ensure that mywork attracted my target audience I made sure throughout the construction of my magazine Ishowed fellow students copies of it to get feedback on how I could maybe make it more relevant. Most of the feedback I got was good and they felt they would enjoy reading the magazine.
