All rights reserved. 6 The gap between ideal and reality toward service robots Ideal of Service Robots: •  improve our producEvity •  support and watch over elderly people Reality of Service Robots: •  exist not much to help our daily complicated tasks One of this reasons: The service robots are currently unconsidered communicaEng with heterogeneous robots made by different manufacturers. Therefore, a high funcEonality and complicated robot is required although the collaboraEon of various simple robots is effecEve.

Highly advanced infrastructure powered by Kubernetes Because Kubernetes hides the durable and effecEve but complicated infrastructure, we can easily use the highly advanced infrastructure powered by Kubernetes if we ride a Kubernetes way. In that society, we cannot avoid to rely on the service robots in our everyday life. The collaboraEon of robots, people and environments The collaboraEon of robots, people and environments will help us to improve our producEvity and to support the elderly people effecEvely. Our Robot PlaPorm is aimed to realize this concept. Our Robot PlaLorm will be ready to use We have been developed a Robot PlaPorm and performed an experiment to probe our concept. Our Robot PlaPorm has been open-sourced on Github and we will make it a FIWARE Enabler. Please try if you are interested in.
