Ideas for Spring March, April, May
• Learning about local places, local history & the local
environment is of interest! Let’s find a guest speaker
(checking back w/Gaston Co. Museum, MIL Educational
State Forest). Possibly, Rozzelle’s Ferry as one of our
“Stories by the Lake.” Maybe March.
• Our 1st travel talk — Let’s ID a homeowner (eg, one with
exotic travel experiences). Maybe May.
• Home life: Host a discussion on appliances (eg, using your
convection oven or Duke Energy on home appliance tips)?
Attend a Southern cooking class (eg, @ CPCC Culinary Arts
Center). Maybe April.
Volunteers: Who from here can help chase down resources and
help with individual programs?

Co. library)
