  13. 13. 13 Focus Groups @ MHS •  Courses - AVID - College Transition - CTE – BIMM, Computer Programming and Audio/Visual Production •  How often? - 3 times/week via AVID and College Transition •  A Naviance Committee counselor will visit AVID/ College Transition every Friday to answer student questions or present an important topic.

  15. 15. 15 College and Career Center •  Every student who enters the center will have to log into their Naviance account and update something. •  The College & Career Counselor will be able to pull a report of usage.
  16. 16. 16 Counselors •  Counselors will encourage students to log into their Naviance account to search for college information. •  Each counselor has a laptop so students can log in when in her office.
  17. 17. 17 Roadtrip Nation •  Brings the “why” or relevance for continuing with education •  Hundreds of video interviews with thought- provoking questions •  Focus Group discussions •  Available through Family Connections under “Careers” tab

  23. 23. 23 New/Transfer Students •  College and Career Counselor meet with students who do not have a Naviance account. - One day every three weeks - Reports can be run to determine which students do not have an account
