We specialize in social, mobile and digital solutions.<br />Our first application is currently in beta, SocialFeast Pro, which is a web-based social media management application. This is a free application that allows you to:<br />Manage - your social media efforts<br />Publish – content to various social networks<br />Promote – yourself or your organization<br />Analyze – your social media efforts<br /> We will be demonstrating this application later in this presentation.<br />

We’re a passionate, quirky group of social media geeks.<br />You’ll find us in the twitter streams, linkedin groups, facebook pages, and pretty much all over the social web.<br />We build a fanatical customer community that encapsulates your brand.   10. 10. No Strategy<br />Social Media can be an extremely powerful marketing and sales tool when used correctly. The biggest mistake we see small and large businesses making is starting without any strategy or goals in place. <br />You might come flying out of the gates, but there is no way you will be able to maintain or capitalize on that momentum w/out a strong strategy in place. <br />

Education<br />Social Media is so new that there aren’t any manuals or guides out there. <br />Being able to setup a Facebook page or register a twitter handle DOES NOT mean you understand how to USE social media<br />It takes a tremendous amount of time and actual experience on social networks in order to understand how to use them correctly <br />Which networks is your business on?<br />Which networks should your business be on?<br />Which networks are your customers on?<br />These are only a few questions you should be asking yourself when registering your company throughout the social web<br />Lack of Understanding<br />Wrong Networks<br />
  12. 12. Slow Down!<br />Building your online community won’t happen overnight. <br />Pick one or two networks when starting out. Build a strong following / brand on these platforms first. <br />REMEMBER:<br />This is a marathon. <br />Not a sprint. <br />
  13. 13. Social Media is not a miracle worker. If the product or service that your business currently offers is low quality don’t expect much. <br />BROKEN. <br />

Website; your online home<br />Is your site out of date?<br />Is there a clear ‘Call to Action’ on each page<br />Does it provide clear, helpful content for your customer<br />Are your social sites integrated w/ your website?<br />Overall Design<br />Do you have one?<br />How often are you updating?<br />Are you sticking to a schedule?<br /> Are you writing relevent posts that benefit your customer?<br />Context is JUST AS important as content<br />Are customers leaving comments on a regular basis? <br />Website<br />Blog<br />
  16. 16. Social Networks<br />Do you have brand consistency across you networks?<br />URL<br />Logo<br />Bio<br />Are you creating unique content on each network? Or just blasting the same message throughout the social web.<br />Is your business on the correct networks? <br />Have you found which platforms your customers are on?<br />
  17. 17. Facebook<br />Think of your brand’s Facebook page as if you were hosting a party. <br />Invite your customers in, get the convo started, and let them interact w/ each other. <br />
  18. 18. Twitter <br />Twitter gives you the incredible opportunity to build intimate, one-on-one relationships w/ your customers.<br />Follow your customers to see what makes them tick. <br />
  19. 19. There are hundreds of different social networking sites. Ranging from geo-location to industry specific. It’s important your company has taken the time to explore the social web.
