VIRTUAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP LABA SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM FOR ENTREPRENEURS
AIM OF THE PLATFORM To create a a fast,easily accessible,social media(facebook) like platform for all the entrepreneurs,for them to discuss ideas with their Alikes ,mentors and consultants.
NEED OF THE PLATFORMImagine you are young entrepreneur who wants to create a venture, or a venture capitalist who wants to invest in a special business idea or country. What do you do? You think about business idea, you think about where to find financing, you think about experienced guys who could help with the advice and mentor you. But the most important thing for all of them (mentor, entrepreneur, Venture capitalist, expert, business angel is a TEAM) - this is not just a words, but proved ones by many papers and researches.
Many of us (not all) are living in the world of Social Networks (virtual and real ones), we use facebook, we use linkedin. But why? To solve our problems in our personal life (firstly) - necessity of communication or sharing experience or whateever, only then - for work.
What are main problems in entrepreneruship? solvingThere are many, and our project aims on them. The most important are: - to find a team, - to test, validate and prove hypothesis/business idea, - to find funding his is really hard and long process of decision making, - to develop and scale business model, - to get mentorship, advices from experienced entrepreneurs, - etc.
THE FUTURE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP What about creating virtual incubator in thecountries where this infrastructure is not developedso good, as, say, in the US? Take example ofDeveloping countries or Russia or CIS countries. What if we will create virtual community which willconnect all these people and roles, organizations andfunds on the online platform? It could have a lot ofservices and business models, but imagine that youcould come and it will allow you to find right people inthe right place at a right time?

This is our idea and we call it Virtual entrepreneurship LabIt is the service for entrepreneurs, mentors,venture capitalists, experts, business angels whoare involved and work on creating ventures. Mainidea behind is to create a virtualcommunity/incubator where all this people couldmeet and find assistance, information, knowledge ontheir particular topic about startups, find teams,share connections. This will be Virtual SocialNetwork for Startups.
Unlike existing incubators and platforms ourmarket is primarily Russia, CIS and developingcountries which have lack of entrepreneurshipactivities or some problems with them (corruption,absence of mentors or venture capitalists, poorinvestment climate, high costs of starting upbusiness, poor acces to international or globalmarkets). Moreover, we are creating virtualcommunity not a physical location such as SiliconValley, or Famous Triangle. This virtual platformwill be aimed on different customer segments withdifferent services and proposals.
