How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
Introduction

All main products, whether they are professional or amateur need an ancillary task to support their main product.
Ancillary tasks helps to advertise and promote their main products.

My Main product and ancillary task

My group decided to create a “Short film production”for our main product. We decided this after many group discussions and strategic plans
For our ancillary tasks I had to produce a film review page and a poster to support my main product.

Fulfilling Customer Needs

From previous research carried out, I noticed that all three tasks had a similar theme. For example, colours and images. So I tried to keep all colour connotations similar to the main product. I used an image from my main product on my poster, and I also used a background location image, to give a realistic yet professional look.

Research

For our main product we were influenced mainly by a short film called “Wasp”, which is displayed on my blog.
For my film poster and film review page, I used research from magazine's such as “ForteamTimes”. This is where I got the idea for the structure and layout for my ancillary tasks.

Strengths and Advantages

I believe that our main products have a good partnership with its ancillary tasks.
I believe that the ancillary tasks which I have produced fully support my main product. As I have tried to follow typical conventions of a film poster and film review page.

Next Steps of Action

Displayed below are my ancillary tasks which have been annotated =)
