We are doing this project to be conscious
of the environmental and the
susteinabilities for our school.

How filtration of water can be made if we
want to use organic materials in the

Solar panels have a high cost, could this
option be really a good idea?

To help the nature using solar energy
instead of electric energy in Abraham
Lincoln School.

To use solar panels to get solar energy
usefull for the school.
To do a filtration of water that can be
usefull to get energy.

8. Description of the Project
This project is about knowing how our
school will become a sustainable school
and how we can be conscious of the
environment.
9. How did this project begin?
The Project started10 years ago and in 2012-
2013 the Project was named: water, healthy
water, healthy people. This students
participate in Expociencias.

The persons that say YES was because:
• We are self-sustaining
• All reusable resources we use are reinvested
• reusable resources

• waste energy, water and plastic
• we have much in environmental culture
• we need to recycle, reuse and to get benefic of the materials
The persons that say YES/NO was because:
• we are in the process of bacoming a sustainable school.
16. Plants
Bautista is the person incharge of all the
thing of the plants. He takes care of them
and give the fertilizer.
One of the plants that they use is the
Arboloco, and is a native plant.
18. Greenhouse
The greenhouse is made more or less
with 2000 of bottles, most of the bottles
are taken to the school by the childrens.
Also it is made by things that were left
from the construction of school like the
sticks and the plastic.
20. Decomposer
There is a descomposer used to
discompose all the leftover food from
lunch.
When the food is already discompose it
goes to the plants like a fertilizer.
22. Water Filtration Plant
Orlando Rocha is the person incharge of
the filtration of water.With this process
the school takes the water of the
bathrooms, makes the filtration and the
water leaves 90% cleaner.
28. Pool
In the roof of the building pool they are
panels of plan flat. This panels make that
the water of the showers be hot and is
recolected in 2 tanks of 2,000 liters.
30. Panels
Other panels that are in other roofs are
useful for all buildings, because they save
energy, so they use led lights that save a
lot of energy.
