He served as Director of Marketing of Ernst &Young Indonesia for five years before moving to PricewaterhouseCoopers. AsDirector of PWC he was responsible for business development and go-to-market strategy of the firm in Indonesia, until he co-founded HD AsiaAdvisory.Mr. Djonoputro also spent 6 years with American Express International inIndonesia as Head of Business Partnership, Marketing & Sales Division.While at American Express he was awarded the American Express WorldwideBest Performer Award in 1993, the highest chairman‟s award for performanceand customer service (he remains the only Indonesian to have received theaward).Mr. Djonoputro graduated from the prestigious Bandung Institute ofTechnology (ITB)s School of Regional & City Planning. He is an alumni of theIndonesia-Australia Intergovernmental Youth Exchange Program. It was built in1904 and it was used for fermenting beer until 1988.The building is now open to the public for tours, during which one can learnthe brewing process of Guinness, discover the history of the company and betaught how to pull the perfect pint of stout.The tour concludes with a trip to the gravity bar – set on the roof of thebuilding, with a chance to take in a panoramic view of the city, as well assome of it‟s best served pints. 17
