Media distribution

 1. 1. What kind of media institution might distribute and why? Naomi Angel
 2. 2.

The type of distribution which could be possible to distribute Target is DVD because I would be able to release the footage for home viewing and it would be cost-effective to have them made up.

Another way that would make it possible for ‘Target’ to be digitally distributed is by having it uploaded onto the internet, this makes it easy for the viewers to access but would still have to pay a cost to download it.
 3. 3.

A film company called JMG Media film their own mini films, mainly educational films which are targeted mainly at teenagers involving issues like alcohol, health issues and pregnancy, usually put their footage onto DVD and send them off to schools and colleges, publicizing not only their company but the message that they’re trying to give. They even got a nomination at Virgin Media’s short films in 2010.

This is the sort of thing I’d like with mine by giving out the message that you shouldn’t disrespect someone who may have any sort of disorder as it may one day result into what happens in ‘Target’, you just never know.
 4. 4.

I personally think I would see my media product in Art houses, showing a niche audience the seriousness of what assassinations can be like. The audience would then be able to give specific feedback on the features that have been used to make it suitable for the target audience.

Compared to a professional film, my media product ‘Target’ does give across the message to the audience well of the extraordinary being able to happen anywhere; including a housing estate. Also, it shows a good level of suspense which is important in a Thriller by it creating tension.
