  1. 1. It is the study and use of rules by which wordschange their forms and are combined intosentences or it is also a system of rules whichdescribe the formation of language’s sentences. Some methaphors of GRAMMAR. GRAMMAR is the glue that holds language together. GRAMMAR is the engine that drives language. GRAMMAR is the map of the language. GRAMMAR is hard-wired in the brain. GRAMMAR is both particles and waves. GRAMMAR is the highway code of language.
  2. 2. Grammar can be introduced in a numberof ways , or we can show students grammarevidence and ask them to work outfor themselves how the language is constructed. We will also want to provide opportunities for students to practise different grammarpoints, and we may want to use games to makesuch practice more engaging.
