specializes in appropriations with policy expertise in homeland security, economic
development, transportation, energy and defense.

YOUR ACTION PLANT FOR TODAY
• Know your key arguments/priorities

Congress just completed the FY22 annual appropriations process and is
awaiting the FY23 budget request from the President.
FY23 NADO/DDAA Appropriations Requests:
 $50M for EDA/EDD Partnership Planning Funding
 $18M for ARC/Local Development Districts
FY23 NADO EDA Reauthorization Priorities:
 Increase EDD Partnership Planning Grants to $100M
 More Favorable 90/10 Federal/local Cost-share adjustment
 Dedicated EDA “Rural Communities” category
