Shows the name of the file we are searching for.
If we click on down arrow , we will see the most
recent searches we have performed
Look in
Directs windows95 to search a specific path for
the file. If we click on the down arrow, we will see
a list of the disk on our computer

Let us look through the available disk to find the
one we want to search
Click Name & Location Tab, and then type the
name of the file we want to find

Also type the name where to search in ‘look’ in
box for the file or click the arrow next to the look in
box
To start the search, click Find New

We can also search for a file even if we know a
part of file name
For example, if a file name starts with the letter ab,
then we will search it using wildcard characters
If a search is too long and we want to stop it, click
the stop button
To start over with a new search criteria, click the
New Search button

part of the file name
If we have an idea of when the file was last
worked on, we can locate the file by using the
Date Modified tab
The Date Modified tab contains the following

Find all files created or modified restricts the
search to a given date between too specified dates
during the previous number of months or during the
previous number of days
We can specify a search between specific days or
just look for files created or modified in some
