Socially justice immersion

  2. 2.     Teachers do not understand social justice or their issue There is a lack of involvement from parents and the community Teachers do not know how to teach social justice to their students There is a set “norm” which is searched upon and bias ideas reflect away from social justice
  3. 3.      Creating a closer link between parents and teachers Creating a closer link between students and parents Creating a closer link between parents and students Gaining more community involvement Creating values among students such as unity, respect, honesty, success, and discipline
  4. 4.      Create more training for teachers Encourage more community involvement Hire more qualified teachers who are passionate about education, and offer them packages that will keep teachers on Educate students on social justice issues Create policies that gear towards zero tolerance for social injustice
  5. 5.  Many schools are working harder towards social justice. Zero tolerance on bullying is one way schools are working harder to ensure the safety of their students while working toward social justice.
  6. 6. It all happens to often where we hear of young children who are bullied to the point that they are drove to suicide. The next video you will see illustrates the importance of social justice, the reasons why this is a crucial issue in our education system, and the outcome of social injustice in schools. 

  8. 8.   Teachers are overwhelmed trying to find a way to in cooperate social justice into their curriculum, but with help from new policies they are able to successfully teach social justice, and equality to their students.
