Overview of Montessori in CIT CIT, in partnership with Cork College of Commerce, is offering a new BA (Honours) in Montessori Education from September 2012. CIT is the first Irish third-level college outside of Dublin to offer students an opportunity to study for an honours degree in Montessori Education. It is a two year, full time programme leading to a NFQ Level 8 award. The degree includes supervised internship as well as practical and research experience.

Eligibility to ApplyEligibility:To be eligible to apply students must have achieved afull FETAC Level 6 award in Montessori (relating to the3-6 year old child)Admission Requirements:Applications for the BA (Honours) in MontessoriEducation are invited from students with a merit profileand a minimum of 2 distinctions.We have a partnership with Cork College of Commercebut welcome applications from ALL students who havean equivalent qualification (i.e. a FETAC 6 in Montessori– with a merit profile and minimum of 2 distinctions).
