International Association of Charity (AIC): 1617 “Against poverty acting together.” • 250,000+ members • Present in 52 countries • Activities: Creation of projects that transform the lives of the poor (housing, service to AIDS victims and those terminally ill, community development and savings project), promotion of justice and equality, defense of women’s rights and dignity, representation before the UN, and other international organizations, etc.
