About Chaminuka is a 10,000-acre private nature reserve. It opened in 1998 to discerning travellers seeking a unique experience into what Africa and Zambia have to offer.
It has 72 species of wildlife, including mammals, primates, reptiles and snakes. In addition to that, more than 300 species of birdlife have been recorded at the Nature Reserve, among these is the Chaplin’s Barbet, a species unique to Zambia.
Chaminuka has a total of 30 rooms, all self-contained with bathrooms en-suite. Each room has a telephone with IDD, satellite television, minibars and a safe.
