  4. 4. Solution<br />From Pascal’s principle<br />P1 = P2expand the formula<br />F1/A1 = F2/A2 rearrange the formula<br />F2 = (A2/A1) × F1 substitute the value<br />F2 = (24/4) × 15 <br />F2 = 90 N<br />
