  8. 8. PROPERTIES OF LINE Length - lines can be long or shortWidth- lines can be wide or skinnyTexture - lines can be rough or smoothDirection - lines can move in any direction
  9. 9. The Elements- "Shape" and "Form"• Shape- an element of art that is a two- dimensional area that is defined in some way. A shape may have an outline around it or you may recognize it by its area.
  10. 10. Geometric shapes• Geometric shapes- precise shapes that can be described using mathematical formulas. Ex. Circle, square, triangle, oval, rectangle, parallelogram, trapezoid, pentagon, pentagram, hexagon, and octagon.
