What do you offer, to whom?
How do you combine your idea of value with the views that others (potential users, co-creators, professional partners, and third parties) may have of it?
Why is it important to step back and (re)define what your ambitions, goals, values and principles are?
How can you use the business model concept as a tool to realise such a value proposition?
This online presentation is adapted from the one I gave during the Digital Pioneers Academy workshop on Friday 21st Nov in Amsterdam: an introduction on how to effectively turn idea into reality. It lays out the questions you want ask yourself beforehand, and the ones you need to keep asking yourself in the process.
This was a blast to do: the pioneers are an enthusiastic and lively group, making for a very interactive session that left me with a lot of useful feedback for my and Knowledgeland’s business model workshops.
So I consider this version the result of a co-creative workshop, useful as a reference guide for the pioneers who were there and for me. There’s a link to related posts and articles (Dr. ‘Business Model’ Osterwalder; Kevin Kelly; Chris Anderson & our own first business model workshop presentation) via the Digital Pioneers site.
