Adverbs of Frequency are Adverbs of Time
that answer the question "How frequently?"
or "How often?". They tell us how often
something happens. Here are some
examples: always, Hardly ever, often,
usually, sometimes, never.
We usually go shopping on Saturday.
I have often done that.
She is always late.
previous
Expressions of time go at the end of a statement.
Definite expressions of time can also go at the
beginning if they are not the main focus in the
sentence. If you are in doubt - put it at the end of
the sentence - it is more likely to be right.
Every day/ week/ month/….
On Mondays/ Wednesdays/…
Once a day/ week/month/…
Three/ four/… times a day/week/…
In the morning/ afternoon/…
Every Saturday Peter watches t.v. at home
We leave for work at 7:30 AM every
morning. Routine
My husband watches the TV in the evening.
